What is Therapix?

Therapix is a learning management system!

It’s a database of courses and short videos that show you how to use a wide variety of therapeutic strategies with children who have developmental challenges or additional needs, including (but not limited to!) autism, ADHD, or Dyslexia. 

What does Therapix do?

Therapix helps parents, teachers, and therapists to use therapy skills with children who have additional needs by breaking down the steps in short, bite-sized videos. We make it easy for home, school, and therapy to work together, which keeps things consistent for everyone!

Who can use Therapix?

Therapix is designed for adults who have or work with children. This includes:

Does my child need a diagnosis?

The short answer is: no!

Therapix is designed to support children with, without, or waiting for formal diagnoses.

What age range does Therapix cover?

Therapix is designed for adults (parents, teachers, therapists) who have or work with children who are between the ages of 3 and 12.

We plan to extend our range to teenagers and adults as we grow, so stay tuned!

Is Therapix easy to use, even with limited tech experience?

Yes! We are focused on making life easier for our users, so both our content and our database are designed to be simple and easy to use. 

Our videos follow Universal Design Principles, it’s easy to learn across abilities and languages.

What does “neurodivergent” mean?

“Neurodivergent” is an umbrella term to describe those of us whose brains behave, learn, and/or process differently from what is generally considered “typical”.

This includes autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, OCD, Dyspraxia, and more!

What are “neuro-affirmative" services?

Therapix’s services are neuro-affirmative, which means we recognise, respect, and celebrate that everyone’s brain works differently! Our approach supports and affirms children’s neurodiversity and plays to their strengths.

How can parents and caregivers benefit from Therapix?

Parents or guardians can use Therapix to quickly and easily learn functional therapy skills to use with their children at home. Our short, animated videos are engaging to watch, and make abstract ideas into something concrete. 

How can teachers and schools benefit from Therapix?

Therapix helps equip teachers with the tools they need to support the pupils in their classrooms, and streamlines collaboration between home, school, and therapy.

Teachers can work on Individualised Education Program (IEP) goals and whole classroom strategies, and even share this with parents or guardians so that learning is consistent at home and school!

How can therapists benefit from Therapix?

Using Therapix, therapists can easily share their therapy plans, as well as home and school recommendations. Therapix is designed to support patient education and coaching, and to save therapists’ time and resources while doing so.

Therapists can feel satisfied knowing their professional expertise is being put to good use, while being assured that their clients are getting the support they need!

Therapix is a registered company in Ireland and the UAE. Our service is largely online-based, with a hybrid of select onsite services.
